Power Play

The Game

Take on the role of a power manager. Players must build, manage  and upgrade power plants in order to supply electricity to city blocks. 

With a unique, substation-based power system, players can creatively distribute power from their plants to the areas that need it. The goal is to keep the population happy and prosperous, which leads to city tiles, or blocks to upgrade. 

Be mindful, citizens have stigmas surrounding certain energy types, and are often concerned about pollution.

City Tiles

The world consists of three "city tile" types; Commercial, Industrial and Residential, and each of these have their own quirks. While commercial and residential may be interested in going green, industrial cares more for consistent and reliable power.

It is up to you to balance funding, your plants and  population happiness to progress in the game and ultimately succeed.

Ultimatums

These are special objectives issued to the player, and can revolve around a global event such as a legislation change, or can be issued by a specific city tile in response to a lack of power, excessive pollution and more.
